Amending Council File RLH AR 15-91 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during February 11 to August 21, 2015 at 1052 ROSS AVENUE. (File No. VB1604, Assessment No. 168803)

 

Body

WHEREAS on February 3, 2016, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 15-91, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during February 11 to August 21, 2015. (File No. VB1604, Assessment No. 168803); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1052 Ross Avenue, being described as: Terrys Addition E 2o Ft Of Lot 3 And Ex S 5o Ft Lot 2 Blk 13, with the property identification number 28-29-22-34-0015 was assessed an amount of $2,180.00; and

WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment per the request of the owner.  File was reviewed and found that the file was closed on October 15, 2015 and the fees should have been waived;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2180.00, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 15-91 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
