Comments: Weekly service for tipping two containers ($100 for each week of service). Property was transferred to vacant buildings and garbage hauling service ended on December 30, 2015; containers were removed.
History of Orders on Property: The property was inspected on 9/3/15; a summary abatement order, a vehicle abatement order, and order to provide garage service were issued with a compliance date of 9/8/15. The property was not in compliance when re-inspected on 9/8/15; a letter was sent to PO and a work order was sent to Parks to begin weekly garbage service. Parks dropped off two containers on 9/9/15 and started weekly hauling service at this property which did not end until 12/30/15. Parks also did a clean up of property on 9/8/15; vehicles were removed on re-inspection on 9/18/15. Additional orders for violations have been issued for this property as it is not being maintained.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Trash Hauling services during December 3 to 30, 2015. (File No. J1607G, Assessment No. 168706) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and payable in one installment.
