WHEREAS, the Bloomberg What Works Cities Conference will be held in New York City, New York on April 18 - 20, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Bloomberg Philanthropies has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the Bloomberg What Works Cities Conference will be beneficial by making Saint Paul a leader in using data and evidence to improve results for its residents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare, lodging, and some meal expenses for the Bloomberg What Works Cities Conference and thanks Bloomberg Philanthropies for its generous gift.
