Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed December 16, 2014 to October 21, 2015. (File No. VB1605, Assessment No. 168804)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 16-53 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during the time period of December 16, 2014 to October 21, 2015; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 6, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 16-87:  1126 Albemarle Street;

RLH TA 16-82:  646 Aurora Avenue;

RLH TA 16-83:  810 Buffalo Street;

RLH TA 16-93:  568 Burgess Street;

RLH TA 16-81:  766 Bush Avenue;

RLH TA 16-52:  109 Congress Street;

RLH TA 16-75:  943 Earl Street;

RLH TA 16-53:  275 Erie Street;

RLH TA 16-61:  336 Front Avenue;

RLH TA 16-54:  719 Glendale Street (Roll under 711 Glendale Street);

RLH TA 16-84:  918 Jordan Avenue;

RLH TA 16-60:  600 Lafayette Road;
