Title
Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works in order to accept additional County funds into the Payne Avenue at East 7th Street Intersection Realignment Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is designing, and will be constructing, a project that will realign Payne Avenue as it approaches East 7th Street, and
WHEREAS, Payne is designated as County State Aid Highway 58, and as such the County will be participating in the cost of the project, and
WHEREAS, the initial budgeted amount from the County was $85,000 and that amount has been revised to $224,000, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $139,000 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $139,000 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
