Approving funding for the Office of Human Resources to provide food/beverages for the Emerging Leaders Academy.
Body
WHEREAS, the Human Resources department is holding the Emerging Leaders Academy a City Employee Leadership development Program;
WHEREAS, providing food and beverages during the training sessions enables sessions to take place efficiently and without disrupting work; and
WHEREAS, the funds for training are paid to Human Resources per applicant out of each departments budget; and
WHEREAS, these trainings will occur periodically from March through November 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Office of Human Resources is authorized to spend an amount not to exceed $15 per day per person for food and beverages for employees attending the Emerging Leaders Academy trainings.
