Modifying Residential Permit Parking Area 22 for the Cleveland Avenue Bicycle Project.

WHEREAS, Public Works has done an additional parking study involving the community and is now moving forward with the Cleveland Avenue Bicycle Project; and
WHEREAS, parking on the west side of Cleveland Avenue must be removed in order to install bicycle lanes and Residential Permit Parking Area 22 needs to be modified as a result; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-1124 established “No Parking 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” as street regulations for Area 22; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Area 22 street regulation on the west side of Cleveland Avenue between Grand Avenue and Goodrich Street be changed to “No Parking” per the attached map; and be it further
RESOLVED, that on street parking in front of houses 57-75 and 89-115 Cleveland Avenue has been removed and these addresses are now eligible for Area 22 permits; and be it further
RESOLVED, that on street regulation on the south side of Grand between Finn and the alley west of Cleveland be revised from “No Parking 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” to “One-hour parking, 8am to 6 pm, Except by Permit”; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that these parking regulations shall be coordinated with project completion and in effect and enforced 30 days after City Council approval or as soon as signs are erected, weather permitting.
