Modifying Residential Permit Parking Area 16 for the Cleveland Avenue Bicycle Project.

WHEREAS, Public Works has done an additional parking study involving the community and is now moving forward with the Cleveland Bicycle Project; and
WHEREAS, parking on the west side of Cleveland Avenue must be removed in order to install bicycle lanes and Residential Permit Parking Area 16 needs to be modified as a result; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-1124 established “No Parking 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” on the west side of Cleveland Avenue from Dayton Avenue to Selby Avenue and Resolution 87-1264 established “One Hour Parking, Except by Permit” on the west side of Cleveland Avenue from Marshall Street south to the alley; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Area 16 street regulation on the west side of Cleveland Avenue between Selby Avenue and Marshall Avenue be changed to “No Parking” per the attached map; and be it further
RESOLVED, that on street parking in front of houses 163-197 Cleveland Avenue and 2062 Marshall Avenue has been removed but these addresses and 201 Cleveland Avenue remain eligible for Area 16 permits; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that these parking regulations shall be coordinated with project completion and in effect and enforced 30 days after City Council approval or as soon as signs are erected, weather permitting.
