Authorizing the Police Department to spend general funds on a bowling party for the Police Explorers.
Body
WHEREAS, the Police Explorer youths volunteered over the past several months to participate in the Fox Sports video in addition to showcasing the Explorer program at the annual Blue Nite gala; and
WHEREAS, the Explorers were not compensated for their time and travel and to show the department’s gratitude we are requesting to fund a bowling party at the SunRay Lanes located at 2245 Hudson Road, Saint Paul, MN; and
BE IT ORDERED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to pay the costs associated with the above, not to exceed $250.00 from Accounting Unit 10023200; Activity 2310041000.
