Accepting Tax Base Revitalization Account Cleanup Grant from the Metropolitan Council and amending the 2015 Budget.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council on April 23, 2014, by Resolution number 14-609 authorized the Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Metropolitan Council for Tax Base Revitalization Account Cleanup Grant for Hamm’s Brewery;
and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council approved a TBRA cleanup grant of $385,700 for Hamm’s Brewery.
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $385,700 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget and recommends the changes to the 2015 budget identified on Attachment B:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts this grant and approves the changes identified on Attachment B to the 2015 budget.
