Purpose of Appeal: We are appealing the need to pave all parking spaces. The parking lot has always been this way for over 100 years, it should be grandfathered in. The amount of cost to pave would be over $7,000 which is too exceptional for our business.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments Photos dated 11-19-15 were submitted, reviewed and found to be inadequate. No boundaries showing gravel has been contained, it continues to be throughout area. Class 5 has also not been maintained, it is broken down and needs to be resurfaced, as discussed in the hearing. MCM 11/20/15

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Tarryl Olson to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1099 BUSH AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council approves the site plan and grant an extension until November 20, 2015 for compliance with order and allowing Class 5 surfacing to be used if it is well maintained and bounded by landscaping to not spread to other parts of the property; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
