Purpose of Appeal: My house will / and is expect to be completed by november 2015. Plumpling and heating permits closed already.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant filed a Summary Abatement Order as well, scheduled for September 22.  Anniversay date is October 1.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Houa Yang to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 1126 ALBEMARLE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and let the fee goes into assessment.  If owner is done with the repairs by January 1, 2016, will recommend deletion of the vacant building fee; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
