Amending Chapter 21 of the Administrative Code pertaining to the minimum qualifications for City Engineer.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

SECTION 1

Section 21.09 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 21.09. - City engineer.

The city engineer shall have current registration as a professional engineer in the state and have four (4) years of experience as an assistant city engineer, civil engineer IV or equivalent. in the city.  There shall be no substitution for such registration or experience.

SECTION 2

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days following its passage, approval and publication.
