Approving the 2015 Rules & Regulations for the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code §170.10 (b) authorized the Director of Parks and Recreation to make reasonable rules for use of park property; and
WHEREAS, such rules are to be approved by the City Council by resolution, and on file with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has recently undertaken the process of updating its Rules and Regulations, held a hearing before the Parks Commission to allow for public comment on the proposed changes, and solicited additional feedback from the public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed updated Rules and Regulations, and finds them to be reasonable;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves of the attached Rules and Regulations for the Department of Parks and Recreation and directs that a copy of the same be on file with the City Clerk.
