Amending the financing and spending plans in the Office of Technology and Communications- Cable Equipment Replacement Budget in the amount of $80,000 using fund balance to upgrade equipment in the Council Chambers
Body
WHEREAS, The Office of Technology and Communications is upgrading and replacing the Master Control equipment, directly tied to the Council Chambers Equipment and will need an additional $80,000 in the Cable Equipment Replacement Budget to complete the upgrade, and
WHEREAS, the Office of Technology and Communications wishes to amend the Cable Equipment Replacement budget using unspent balances from prior years, and
WHEREAS, Cable Equipment Replacement budget funds are comprised of PEG Grant dollars and equal annual contributions from Ramsey County for the specific and sole purpose to fund the operations and maintenance of the Council Chambers technology, and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has approved the use of the Cable Equipment Replacement budget funds for this project, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $80,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following addition be made to the 2015 budget: See Attachment
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this amendment, and hereby approves the changes to the 2015 budget for the Office of Technology and Communication, Cable Equipment Replacement Budget.
