Purpose of Appeal: Mr. Lauver came to my office today. He has applied for emergency assistance for funds to work on the accumulation of materials. He has also been referred to House Calls. He is disabled and only recently learned that there was a problem where he would need to vacate. He is very low income with nowhere to go.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Lisa Hollingsworth, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, on behalf of David Lauver, to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 798 SEVENTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal, noting the property is now in compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
