Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Legislative Hearing Officer approved for Appellant to do a appeal. rrn This case looks to be a duplicate of the appeal for 901 Portland Ave., St. Clement's Episcopal (RLH FCO 15-173). In that case all that was being appealed was emergency lighting in the sanctuary and it is also a Cass Gilbert building (both churches are inventoried by the HPC for their historic significance.). I have attached the records of that appeal. Emergency lighting in the sanctuary is the only item under appeal. Appeal granted based on precedent of RLH FCO 15-173. No hearing necessary. MCM

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Charles Neve to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 217 MACKUBIN STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
