Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs incurred to plan the Line of Duty Death funeral for Firefighter/Paramedic Shane Clifton on September 9, 2015 at Gustavus Adolphus Church.
Body
Pursuant to the 2015 City Budget, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to remit payment for planning expenses for the the Line of Duty Death funeral for Firefighter/Paramedic Shane Clifton not to exceed $1,400.00. This will pay for costs incurred by the Saint Paul Fire Department to provide lunch for employees involved with the funeral planning. The funeral will be held September 9, 2015 at Gustavus Adolphus Church. The public purpose of these costs is to provide food for employees working on coordinating the logistical plan for the memorial service and funeral for Firefighter/Paramedic Shane Clifton.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
