Authorizing the Police Department to accept a donation of forensic field kits for the Forensic Services Unit.
Body
WHEREAS, the Target Corporation would like to donate three (3) forensic field kits to the Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD), Forensic Services Unit; and
WHEREAS, Target Corporation states these field kits are not being utilized and would like to donate them to an agency that would put them to good use; and
WHEREAS, these kits have a total estimated value of $1,350 and the public purpose of this donation is to provide additional equipment for the use of SPPD Forensic Services Unit; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation and extends its sincere thanks to the Target Corporation.
