Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works General Fund in the amount of $308,000 for the expansion of the parking meter system.
Body
WHEREAS, the parking meter system is being expanded in 2015 with the addition of new parking meter pay stations and spaces, and
WHEREAS, this expansion is currently in the 2016 Mayor’s budget, and
WHEREAS, the new parking meter pay stations are to be operational as of January 1, 2016 therefore it is necessary for the purchase and installation to be done in 2015, and
WHEREAS, the financing will be a transfer received from the HRA Parking Fund so there will be revenues in excess of the adopted 2015 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $308,000 in the Public Works General Fund; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $308,000 is available for appropriation in the Public Works General Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
