Amending Chapter 74 of the Legislative Code by enacting a new section designating five individual properties as part of the Limestone Properties Thematic Nomination, as Saint Paul Heritage Preservation Sites.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1
That Legislative Code Chapter 74, entitled “Heritage Preservation Districts and Programs,” is hereby amended by the addition of the following new section to be numbered Section 74.09 and entitled “Limestone Properties preservation program” which shall read as follows:
Sec. 74.09. Limestone Properties preservation program.
(a) Designation for heritage preservation. Pursuant to the authority contained in Legislative Code Chapter 73, and upon the recommendation of the Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of Saint Paul, and after having duly considered the matter at a public hearing held in accordance with Leg. Code § 73.05, the five properties designated under the Limestone Properties Thematic Nomination are legally described as all property bounded by and including the following:
Anthony Waldman House: 445 Smith Avenue, Samuel Leeches Addition Ex S 60 Ft The Fol; Lot 14 & E 1/2 Of Lot 13 Blk 9
Christian Reinhardt House: 383 Goodhue Street, Winslows Addition Ex N 5o Ft Lot 16 Blk 21
Justus Ramsey House: 252 West Seventh Street, Rice and Irvine’s Addition Lt 8 Blk 27
Martin Weber House: 202 McBoal Street, Samuel Leeches Addition Lot 4 Blk 8
Schilliger-Brings House: 178 Goodrich Avenue, Bernheimers Addition Vac Alley Accruing & Lot 3 Blk 1
Three of the five properties were previously designated as Heritage Preservation Sites under City Council Ordinances No. 16472 (1978), 94-1719 (1995), 16803 (1981), 94-1720 (1994). The last two were for Schilliger-Brings House which was designated before and after moving the structure to 178 Goodrich.
