Title

Amending the 2015 financing and spending plans in the General Government Accounts Grants Budget in the amount of $375,000, to reflect increased funding from FEMA for expenditures related to the 2014 flood emergency.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul through its General Government Accounts managed by the Office of Financial Services, received a grant from FEMA to fund cleanup operations related to the 2014 Flood Emergency, and 

 

WHEREAS, this grant will reimburse the City for expenses deemed appropriate to these efforts, and

 

WHEREAS, additional spending authority is needed from the City in order to fully fund all of the expenditures related to this Flood, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charters of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $375,000 in the General Government Accounts Grants budget, so

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the Director of Financial Services to amend the General Government Accounts Grants Budget, in the manner as specified in the attached fiscal analysis form.
