Authorizing the proper City Officials to enter into a cooperative construction and cost share agreement (Agreement 15-PW-T-1353) with Group Health Plan Inc. (DBA HealthPartners) related to two traffic signals.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works proposes to enter into a cooperative construction and cost share agreement with Group Health Plan Inc. (DBA HealthPartners) to complete construction of interconnected traffic signals at Olive Street and Phalen Boulevard by the end of 2016 and a traffic signal at Mississippi Street and Phalen Boulevard by the end of 2017.
WHEREAS, Agreement No.15-PW-T1353 specifies the terms, conditions and responsibilities of the City and property owner relating to the design, construction and cost participation of the capital improvements, and ongoing maintenance of the improvement
WHEREAS, the City will be responsible for the design, inspection and contract administration of the project with the property owner agreeing to share in the costs of the improvements as detailed in the agreement, so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul to authorize the proper City officials to sign and execute Agreement No.15-PW-T1353, and any amendments to the Agreement, between the City of Saint Paul and the property owner located at 401 Phalen Boulevard.
