Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $2,300 for donations received to support Safety Camp.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Foundation, Fire Supervisory Association, and Firefighters Local 21 Union have donated a combined total of $2,300 to the Fire Department to support the costs associated with the Safety Camp which was held July 9-10, 2015 at the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of these donations is to support Safety Camp which teaches inner city children lessons in health and safety, and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the donations received, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $2,300 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the additions as specified in the Attachment - "Safety Camp Financial Analysis" be made to the 2015 budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approve the changes to the 2015 budget.
