Approving the polling location and precinct boundary changes for the August 11, 2015 School District Primary Election, and the November 3, 2015 City and School District General Election.

Body
WHEREAS, the elections staff completed their annual inspection of polling places and have the following recommendations for the designation of new polling places in preparation for the city and school district election, and

WHEREAS, the elections staff also recommend changing some precinct boundaries to be more efficient, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 204B.16, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following list of polling precinct location changes for the August 11, 2015 School District Primary Election, and November 3, 2015 City and School District General Election.

Current location: Model Cities
Proposed location: St Stephanus Lutheran Church

Ward 2 Precinct 3
Current location: Nova Classical Academy
Proposed location: Adams School

Ward 2 Precinct 12
Current location: Baker Community Center
Proposed location: Cherokee Heights Elementary School

Ward 6 Precinct 5
Current location: Arlington Hills Recreation Center
Proposed location: Eastside Community Lutheran Church

Ward 6 Precinct 6
Current location: John A. Johnson Elementary School
Proposed location: Arlington Hills Recreation Center

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, Pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 204B.14, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves the following list of polling precinct boundary changes for the August 11, 2015 School District Primary Election, and November 3, 2015 City and School District General Election.

Ward 4 Precinct 4 and Ward 4 Precinct 5 be combined into a single precinct to be named Ward 4 Precinct 4 and that the remaining precincts in Ward 4 be renumbered sequentially.
