Title
Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works in order to close out capital projects by adding Sewer, SPRWS and MSA financing to various projects and transferring any remaining budget into the appropriate contingency accounts.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works proposes to closeout various capital projects and transfer any remaining budget into the appropriate contingency accounts, and
WHEREAS, there is available MSA budget remaining in the 2011 RSVP Project, the 2012 4th Street Reconstruction Project, and 2002 MSA Contingency to transfer into the 2015 MSA Contingency account, and
WHEREAS, there is Street Improvement Bond (SIB) financing remaining in the 2011 RSVP Program and the 2012 RSVP Program that is available for transfer into the SIB Contingency account, and
WHEREAS, the 2012 RSVP has a need of $5,572 of MSA budget in order to have the financing match what was collected from MSA under this project, and
WHEREAS, additional SPRWS financing will be added to the 4th Street Reconstruction Project and additional Sewer financing will be added to the 2012 RSVP Program, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $578,480, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.04 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer of appropriation funds of $2,695,862, so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital improvement Budget Committee, that $578,480 is available for appropriation and that $2,695,862 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
