Authorizing an increase in the Parks and Recreation 2015 Right of Way Beautification Budget to reflect $200,000 in funding from the Public Works Capital Maintenance Fund to provide maintenance for the Green Line LRT on the Central Corridor.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has received funding for up to $200,000 from a Public Works Capital Maintenance Fund to be used for 2015 maintenance costs for the Green Line LRT on the Central Corridor; and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation wishes to increase Its financing and spending budgets by $200,000 in the Right of Way Maintenance Fund, to reflect the spending plan developed as a result of the additional funding; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $200,000 in excess of those estimated in the current ROW Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $200,000 is available for appropriation in the 2015 Parks and Recreation Right of Way Budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council is hereby further amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
