Accepting a gift of $10,000 from the trust of Susan Elizabeth Flynn, and amending the Department of Parks and Recreation 2015 budget by adding $10,000 to the financing and spending plan for donated funds towards a memorial bench and flowering trees along Mississippi River Boulevard.

WHEREAS, the trust of Susan Elizabeth Flynn wishes to donate $10,000 for installation of a memorial bench and planting of flowering trees along Mississippi River Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Department of Parks and Recreation staff supports the installation of a memorial bench and flowering trees along Mississippi River Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to increase its 2015 financing and spending plan to reflect receipt of the $10,000 gift from Susan Elizabeth Flynn; now, therefore, be it
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul wishes to thank the family of Susan Elizabeth Flynnand hereby accepts their generous gift; and be it
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $10,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 Parks Amenity Donation Fund; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, that $10,000 is available for appropriation in the 2015 Parks Amenity Donation Fund, and said 2015 budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended.
