Comments:    THERE WERE A TOTAL OF TWO SUMMARY ABATEMENTS SENT ON THE SAME ISSUE.  ON THE INSPECTION DATE OF 02/10/15, THE INSPECTOR FOUND NO EFFORT BY OWNER, AND ISSUED NEW ORDERS WITH A NEW COMPLIANCE DATE OF 02/17/15.  SO IN EFFECT, THE OWNER GOT EXTRA TIME TO COMPLY.  NO EFFORT WAS MADE BY OWNER IN EITHER CASE.

History of Orders on Property:     12/12/13 SNOW WALK COMPLAINT; 04/18/14 PARKING VEHICLES ON THE GRASS; 09/15/15 PARKING VEHICLES ON THE GRASS; 12/19/14 PARKING VEHICLES ON THE GRASS; 02/02/15 REFUSE - THE INSTANT CASE; 02/10/15 REPORT OF RATS IN THE YARD - UNDER INVESTIGATION.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Property Clean Up services during February 2 to 27, 2015. (File No. J1509A, Assessment No. 158519) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and made payable over 5 years.
