Comments:  This was a two story,wood frame and stucco single family house that has been destroyed by fire.Was referred by St Paul Fire Dept.Inspected with Inspectors Singerhouse and Magner.Major fire occurred earlier today and only a few portions of walls remain,as well as all debris.Some vehicles also fire damaged. A fence has been ordered to secure area.As an active fire investigation is in progress,will wait to take further action until clearance given.A detached one car garage type stucture with walls but no roof next to house. Open Category III VB file.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Demolition services from August and October 2014. (File No. J1502Ca, Assessment No. 152005) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
 
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
 
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and payable in 5 years.
