Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into a management agreement with Saint Paul Urban Tennis for the management of programming services at Griggs Recreation Center.
Body
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of Griggs Recreation Center, ("Griggs") located at 1188 Hubbard Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104, and issued a Request for Proposals for the management of the building; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Urban Tennis Program submitted a response and is able to facilitate youth and adult programming in the recreation center building; and
WHEREAS, both parties wish to enter into this Agreement for the use and management of the Griggs Recreation Center which will provide benefits to the community in the form of continued recreational opportunities;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into the attached Management Agreement between the City of Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreationand Saint Paul Urban Tennis.
