Approving adverse action against the Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle Parts and Auto Repair Garage licenses held by Ker Vang, d/b/a MC Auto Repair & Tire Service at 1202 Dale Street North.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle Parts and Auto Repair Garage licenses held by Ker Vang d/b/a MC Auto Repair & Tire Service (License ID #20040000115) for the premises located at 1202 Dale Street North in Saint Paul, were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated February 13, 2015, stating the licensee failed to pay delinquent license and late fees and submit required information; and
 
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the licenses; and   
 
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit required information or request a hearing; and  
 
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit the required information or request a hearing by February 23, 2015, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle Parts and Auto Repair Garage licenses held by Ker Vang d/b/a MC Auto Repair & Tire Service are hereby suspended for failure to pay delinquent license and late fees.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the licenses.
 
The licenses will remain suspended until all license fees and penalties are paid in full and all required information is submitted to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
