Title

Authorizing the Police Department to amend the 2015 budget as a result of the extension received for the 2013 National PAL grant.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was sub-awarded the 2013 National PAL grant as authorized by council RES 14-79; and

WHEREAS, an extension has been granted for the award through June 30, 2015; and

WHEREAS, the 2015 financing and spending plan needs to be amended for this extension; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $1,505 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2015 budget; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2015 budget.
