Body

WHEREAS,the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT) plans to rehabilitate Interstate 94, construct an auxiliary lane from 7^th Street to Mounds Blvd. and construct a noise wall along Mounds Blvd., and

WHEREAS, MN/DOT has worked with City staff and conducted public "open house" meetings to address City safety and aesthetics concerns and have submitted a final layout to the City for review, comment and municipal consent, and

WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 161.164  requires the City to hold a public hearing prior to providing municipal consent and  provide a 30 day notice prior to holding the public hearing.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City will hold a public hearing on the I-94 Rehabilitation Project (S.P. 6283-175) at the scheduled May 6, 2015 City Council meeting.
