Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into a lease agreement with Child Passenger Safety Associates Inc. for the use of the department's training facility for child passenger safety training.
Body
WHEREAS, Child Passenger Safety Associates Inc. would like to use the Fire Department training facility to provide child passenger safety training, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this training is to prevent serious injuries to children by providing the opportunity for the public to receive training to safely restrain children in vehicles, and
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a lease agreement which includes an indemnification clause with Child Passenger Safety Associates Inc. to use the Fire Department training facility, as provided by the Fire Department; a copy of the said lease agreement is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
