Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to spend up to $25 for prizes to be given out to help promote the 2015 Right Track youth application process.

WHEREAS, Right Track is having a "guess how many youth application's we'll receive this year" contest on Facebook to build excitement around the 2015 Right Track youth application period (Feb 19 - March 13); and
WHEREAS, the contest's purpose is to increase the web traffic on Right Track's Facebook page and increase the number of 'likes'; and
WHEREAS, Right Track staff would like to award the winner of the contest $25 gift card to an AMC movie theatre to encourage participation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council finds that there is a public purpose in increasing web traffic and participation by youth in the Right Track program and authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to spend not more than $25 for prizes to be given out at the event.
