With reference to Preliminary Order: RES 15-313 approved 2/25/2015
Final Order approving the construction of the Como/Chatsworth Residential Street Vitality Project area with new bituminous surfaced streets with concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway aprons and outwalks, and boulevards landscaped with sod and trees. Replace existing wood pole lighting with a new lantern style street lighting system and doing all other necessary work to complete said project. In addition, the appropriate storm and sanitary sewer main repairs will be made, lead water services in the right-of-way will be replaced, and sanitary sewer service repairs will be made at the request of the affected property owners.
As a part of this project, special attention will be paid to bringing existing pedestrian ramps up to ADA standards and public art will be included in said project per the City's Public Art Ordinance as it applies to Street Improvement Bonds.
The affected streets and improvement details are as follows: See the attached Engineering Summary report for affected streets and improvement details.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improvement and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.
