Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Muktar Beder Abdurahman.
Body
WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Muktar Beder Abdurahman (License ID #20140003403) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated January 8, 2015, stating the licensee was convicted of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance in Minnehaha County District Court (South Dakota); and
WHEREAS, the applicant was placed on probation for two (2) years which is due to expire on December 16, 2015; and
WHEREAS, based on this information, the licensing office recommended license denial per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 376.16 (e) (4) (a); and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny License to request a public or administrative hearing or withdraw his license application; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny License stated that if the licensee failed to request a public or administrative hearing or withdraw his license application by January 19, 2015, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Driver application submitted by Muktar Beder Abdurahman is hereby denied.
