Title

Authorizing the Office of Technology and Communications to enter into an agreement, which includes an indemnification clause, with AirWatch LLC for a trial license with hosting, at no cost to the City.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Office of Technology and Communications ("OTC") wishes to enter into an agreement with AirWatch LLC, which includes an indemnification clause; and

WHEREAS, this agreement would provide a trial license with hosting at no cost to the City for AirWatch government products; and

WHEREAS, these trial licenses will enable the OTC to evaluate AirWatch's solution for remotely configuring and managing City-owned mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the council approves entering into and authorizes Chief Information Officer Tarek Tomes to implement the attached agreement, which includes an indemnification clause, with AirWatch, LLC.
