WHEREAS, on October 1, 2014, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH CO 14-11, said Resolution being the memorialization of an appeal to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice for property at 693 Case Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommended that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension until December 1, 2014 to remove the concrete and replace the retaining wall; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council considered the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter; and
WHEREAS, the Appellant is requesting additional extension for the compliance with the correction order because owner did not understand that the Council adopted the legislative hearing officer's recommendation with the understanding that owner was to receive a letter of decision by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting additional extension; Now Therefore, Be It,
RESOLVED, that an extension is hereby granted to January 5, 2015 June 1, 2015 to remove the concrete rubbles and to June 1, 2015 to replace the retaining wall pending possible mediation between the two neighbors.
