Approving adverse action against the Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop license held by Safe Auto Body Shop at 931 Atlantic Street.

WHEREAS, the Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop license held by Safe Auto Body Shop d/b/a Safe Auto Body Shop (License ID #20080000175) for the premises located at 931 Atlantic Street in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License dated December 1, 2014, stating that the licensee failed to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on October 15, 2014 (RES PH #14-296) by the November 21, 2014 deadline; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing by December 8, 2014, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop license held by Safe Auto Body Shop d/b/a Safe Auto Body Shop is hereby suspended for failure to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on October 15, 2014 (RES PH #14-296).
The license will remain suspended until all penalties are paid in full to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
