Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation in the amount of $200 from Regina Rippel, a District 5 Council Member and community member, for youth programming at Arlington Hills Community Center.

Body

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, through recreation centers and programs, offers events for youth in Saint Paul; and

WHEREAS, Regina Rippel wishes to donate $200.00 for use in 2014-2015, to enhance youth or teen programming at Arlington Hills Community Center; and

WHEREAS, the money will be used to create and support programs for youth and teens at Arlington Hills Community Center; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation in the amount of $200.00, appropriates it for the purpose of enhancing youth and teen programmming at AHCC, and thanks  Regina Rippel for her generous gift.
