Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Sisay N. Metaferya.

WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Sisay N. Metaferya (License ID #20130001967) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated October 3, 2014, stating the application showed the licensee lived in Colorado within ten (10) years preceding this application but failed to submit a copy of a State of Colorado driving record; and
WHEREAS, based on this information, the licensing office recommended license denial pursuant to Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 376.16 (e) (5) (e) and;
WHEREAS, licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny License to submit the required information, request a hearing or withdraw the license application; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny License stated that if the licensee failed to submit the required information, request a hearing or withdraw the license application by October 13, 2014, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Sisay N. Metaferya is hereby denied.
