Authorizing the acceptance of funds for the Emergency Solutions Grant Program for HUD FY2014.
Body
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul did approve, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the FY 2014 Community Development Block Grant, HOME, and Emergency Solutions Grant Programs ("2014 Programs") as part of the 2014 Special Funds Budget; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14-547, the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorized the proper City officials to execute grant agreements and contracts between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") and the City of Saint Paul ("City") for the 2014 Programs; and
WHEREAS, during the 2014 Budget Process, the Council of the City of Saint Paul approved the estimated financing for the 2014 ESG Program in the amount of $350,000; and
WHEREAS, on June 20, 2014, proper City officials executed the grant agreement between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City in the amount of $541,808 for the 2014 Emergency Solutions Grant Program ("ESG Program").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that upon the recommendations of the Mayor, the City Council adopts these changes to the FY2014 ESG Budget, as noted in attached Budget Financial Analysis.
