Approving an Animal Boarding (Commercial) license for Hip Hounds, Inc., d/b/a Dog Days (License ID #20140002911) at 880 Vandalia Street.
Body
WHEREAS, Hip Hounds, Inc. d/b/a Dog Days (License ID #20140002911) applied for an Animal Boarding (Commercial) license for the premises located at 880 Vandalia Street in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the licensee, as part of the application process, is required by Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 348.04(b) to obtain signatures of as many owners or private residences, dwellings and apartment houses located within one hundred fifty (150) feet of the premises; and
WHEREAS, there are no residential uses/and or residentially occupied properties with one-hundred and fifty (150) feet of the premises; therefore, no petition signatures were required or District Council approval needed; and
WHEREAS, this is a new construction and all requirements have been met except an Animal Control Inspection which will occur once construction is completed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of an Animal Boarding (Commercial) license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, an Animal Boarding (Commercial) license is hereby granted to Hip Hounds, Inc. d/b/a Dog Days (License ID #20140002911) for the premises located at 880 Vandalia Street in Saint Paul.
