Authorizing the Police Department to accept a donation of laptop computers from the Target Corporation for department computer mobile access needs.
Body
WHEREAS, Target Corporation would like to donate twelve (12) Dell E6410 laptop computers to the City of Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD); and
WHEREAS, the SPPD would like to accept this unsolicited donation with an estimated value of $2,400 (two thousand four hundred dollars); and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide additional laptop computers to units in the Police Department needing more mobile computer access; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation and extends its sincere thanks to the Target Corporation.
