Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department in the amount of $19,500 for the Police Parking Lot Special Fund.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department has realized an exceptional year in snow plowing expense in 2014; and
WHEREAS, the department finds it necessary to increase the 2014 budget in the Police Parking special funds, from existing fund balance, to cover the increase snow plowing costs; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $19,500 in excess of those estimated in the 2014 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2014 budget; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Police Department financing and spending plan is amended and the City Council approves the changes to the 2014 budget.
