Accepting a travel scholarship from the Citizens League for Katie Knutson, Government Relations Associate for Mayor Christopher Coleman, to attend the Generation Now Leadership visit in Fargo, ND, September 10-12, 2014.

WHEREAS, the Citizens League has invited Katie Knutson, Government Relations Associate to Mayor Christopher Coleman, to participate in the Generation Now Leadership Visit, held September 10-12, 2014, in Fargo, ND; and
WHEREAS, the event will share and explore ideas on the various leadership styles in use in Fargo and how these styles and solutions can be adapted and incorporated into other communities and will contribute to the building of cross-sector relationships within Minnesota and will build a more cohesive team working to tackle issues facing our region.; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens League has granted a scholarship for travel expenses for conference, transportation, lodging and meal costs totaling no more than $625, for Katie Knutson to attend said event; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the gift of lodging and travel from the Citizens League and appropriates it to the intended use of funding of Katie Knutson's attendance at the conference and thanksthe Citizens League for its generous gift.
