Approving adverse action against the Cigarette/Tobacco license held by Little Grocery, LLC, d/b/a Little Grocery at 1724 University Avenue West.

WHEREAS, the Cigarette/Tobacco license held by Little Grocery, LLC d/b/a Little Grocery (License ID #20120003282) for the premises located at 1724 University Avenue West in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License dated September 11, 2014, stating that the licensee failed to pay the $900.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on August 6, 2014 (RES PH #14-218) by the September 5, 2014 deadline; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the $900.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the $900.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing by September 18, 2014, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Cigarette/Tobacco license held by Little Grocery, LLC d/b/a Little Grocery located at 1724 University Avenue West is hereby suspended for failure to pay the $900.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on August 6, 2014 (RES PH #14-218).
The license will remain suspended until all penalties are paid in full to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
