Granting approval to the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club, Inc. to enter into a Naming Rights agreement with CHS Inc. to name the Lowertown Ballpark the "CHS Field."

WHEREAS, the Ballpark Use Agreement between the Saint Paul Saint Baseball Club, Inc., and the City of Saint Paul which was approved by City Council on October 23, 2013 gave the Saints exclusive Naming Rights to the ballpark, subject to the approval and consent of the Saint Paul City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Saints have entered into a Naming Rights agreement with CHS and consistent with the Use Agreement is seeking Council approval to name the Lowertown Ballpark "CHS Field"; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the criteria set forth in Exhibit G and has determined that the proposed name is not in violation of the guidelines, does not violate any laws, and is not a geographical conflict; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club, Inc., to enter into an agreement with CHS for the naming rights of the ballpark, such agreement to be in all other respects consistent with the terms of Section 6.5 of the Ballpark Use Agreement.
